If cost of 100kg coffee = Rs 24
So, the cost of 1 kg coffee = Rs(24/100)

And cost of 1 kg tea = Rs 80

Therefore,
ratio = cost of 1kg coffee : cost of 1 kg tea
= 24/100 : 80
= 24 : 80 × 100
= 3: 1000

anjali59: thanks but it is 100 g not kg . I don't think answer is correct
Quasar: if the cost of coffee is 24 rupees per 100 g and the cost of tea is 80 rupees per kg then what

If the cost of 100g coffee = Rs 24
So, the cost of 1g coffee = Rs 24/ 1000

If the cost of 1kg tea = Rs 80 or
If the cost of 1000g tea = Rs 80
So, the cost of 1 g tea = Rs 80/1000

Therefore
Ratio = cost of 1g tea : cost of 1g coffee
            = 80/1000 : 24/100
            = 80×100 : 24 × 1000
            = 8000:24000
            = 1:3
