As it is true the paint will be on the outside surface not in any place inside it so by dividing the cost price by 2.50 we get 600 cm^2 which is the total surface area.
Now to get to know the length of the edge of the box we need to know what is the surface area of one side of the box that is 100 cm^2 (we get it by dividing 6 because of the characteristic of 6 sides of a true cube). As we know squared of one side of a square is the are of it mean the length of the edge of this cube is √100 is equals 10 cm
