Solution :-

If the cost of potato is 40 Rs

So , 1Kg of potatoes = 40 Rs

Rani bought 3 ½ kg of potatoes

So , 3 kg of potatoes

$= 3 \times 40 \: Rs$

$= 120 \: Rs$

Now , ½ kg of potatoes

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 40 \: Rs$

$= 20 \: Rs$

So , total amount

$= 120 + 20$

$= 140 \: Rs$

She gave 200 Rs to Shopkeeper so ,

$= 200 - 140$

$= 60 \: Rs$

She gets 60 Rs back
