 \bf{given}
hey dear

cost of 6 maths book = rupees 48

hence ,
for calculate cost of one math book we have to divide 6 to 48

as number of book is 6 and cost is rupees 48

cost of 1 math book =
 \sf{ \frac{ 48}{6}}

hence , by dividing we get
8 ,so

 \bf{cost \: of \: 1 math \: book \: = \: 8}

hence ,

to calculate the cost of 13 maths book we have to multiply 13 and 8

cost of 13 maths book

=
 \sf{13 \times 8}

 \bf{rupees \: 104}

Hey there! Thanks for the question :)

Coming to the question , We are given the cost of 6 math textbook, And asked to find cost of thirteen such books.

Most common method is Unitary method, We will first find the cost of Single book and later multiply it by required number.

Now,
Given cost of 6 maths textbook = 48

So, Cost of each book = 48 / 6 = 8 .

Now, Cost of 13 such books = 13 * 8 = 104 .

______________________________________________

I will show you one more method which is not in use too.

One more way to do it

Given cost of 6 books = 48

Now, Finding cost of 78 such books ( which means 13 packs of 6 such books )

Cost of 78 books = 48 * 13 = 480 + 144 = 624 .

Now, Find cost of 13 books, that is by dividing by 6 .

Cost of 13 books = 624/6 = 104 .

Therefore, Cost of 13 books = 104 Rs

chaitanya878: 48/6 gives us the value of one text book and multiplied by 13 gives us the value for 13 books
