Answer:

height = 10m

CSA = 440m²

We know that CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

440 = 2*π*r*10

440 = 20*πr

πr = 440/20

πr = 22

(value of π = 22/7 )

(22/7)r = 22

22r = 154

r = 7

so radius = 7

we know that,

Volume of a cylinder = πh

Volume = (22/7)*(7)²*10

= (22/7) * 7*7 *10

= 22 * 7 * 10

= 154*10

= 1540

Volume of the cylinder is 1540m³

1540m³

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

  • CSA of cylinder 440m²
  • Height→ 10m

To find→ volume of cylinder.

We know that, CSA formula for cylinder is 2πrh.

To find volume of the cylinder, we need to get all the values of the cylinder.

CSA→440m²

It clearly means,

2×π×r×h=CSA

\huge2×\frac{22}{7}×r×10m=440m^2

</strong><strong>\</strong><strong>h</strong><strong>u</strong><strong>g</strong><strong>e</strong><strong> </strong><strong>r</strong><strong> =  \frac{7 \times 440}{22 \times \: 2 \times  10}  = 7

So now we have all the values to find volume of the cylinder.

Volume of the cylinder formula→ πr²h

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \times 10 = 1540 {m}^{3}

So Volume of the cylinder 1540m³
