  When electric current flows through a coil, magnetic field is produced. This concept is called as Electromagnetism. Electromagnetism is created when an electrical current passes through a simple conductor such as iron which is in the form of coil.

  The current flows through the entire length of the coil, then a magnetic field is produced along the whole of the conductor. This magnetic field created also has either north pole or south pole.
