Here you should use ,
Mass of ice = mass of water
[ Note :- as you know, density of water is greater than density of ice due to this reason same amount of ice has greater volume than water ]
We also know,mass = volume × density
so, Volume of ice × density of ice = volume of water× density of water
Here, density of ice = 0.91 g/cc
density of water = 1 g/cc
Volume of water = 1000 cm³ or 1000 cc
∴ volume of ice × 0.91 = 1000 × 1
Volume of ice = 1000/0.91 = 1098.90 cm³
Here, volume of ice = 1098.90 cm³ or 1098.90 cc
