To find:

The mass of 5 lit. Mercury in kilogram.

Explanation:

1 litter = 1000 cm³

So that 5 littter = 5,000 cm³

Density of Mercury is 13.6g / cc = 13.6g / cubic capacity

That is 13.6 g/cm³

For 1 cm³ of  Mercury will be 13.6 gram.

For 5,000 cm³ of  Mercury will be = 13.6 × 5000 = 68,000 gram

                                                                                = 68 kilogram.

The mass of 5 lit. Mercury = 68 kilogram.
