length of diagonal = √3 × Length of edge

√12 = √3 × Length of edge of the cube

Length of edge of the cube = √12 / √3

 = 2√3 / √3 = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

 \sf \: diagonal \: of \: cube \: = \sqrt{3} (edge)

 \sf \: diagonal \: = \sqrt{12} cm

 \sf \: \sqrt{12} = \sqrt{3} (edge)

 \sf \implies \: edge \: = \frac{ \sqrt{12} }{ \sqrt{3} } \\

 \sf \implies \: edge \: = \sqrt{4} \\ \sf edge=2 cm \\
