In ∆BAC

by using Pythagoras theorem,

H² = B² + P²

(10)² = (8)² + b²

100 = 64 + b²

100 - 64 = b²

36 = b²

b = √36

b = 6

so, length (l) = 8cm

breadth (b) = 6cm

perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + b)

= 2(8 + 6)

= 2(14)

= 28 cm

so, the perimeter of the rectangle is (iii) 28cm
