diagonal of a square field = 40 m

then the other diagonal should also be = 40 m

when they intersect they divide each other with 20 cm each side...

and at the point of intersection they form an angle of 90°

so using area of traingle = 1/2 base * height

1/2 *20 * 20

area of 1 triangle = 200 m^2

area of 4 traingles form square so

4* 200

= 800 m^2
