GIVEN :-

TO FIND :-

  • Perimeter of square

FORMULAE USED :-

  • Perimeter of square is 4a
  • Diagonal = √2 a

SOLUTION:-

  • First we will find side of a square using the diagonal = √2a

Here a represents side of square

Diagonal = √2 a

12 √2 = √2 a

12 = a

a = 12 cm

So, side of square is 12 cm

  • Perimeter of a square = 4a

Perimeter of a square = 4(12)cm

Perimeter of a square = 48cm
