According to me :-

The diagonal of a square is 42.5 cm. Calculate the perimetre and area of the square.

Let x = length of one side of the square

then from Pythagorean theorem we have:

x^2 + x^2 = 42.5^2

2x^2 = 1806.25

x^2 = 903.125

x = 30.052

Perimeter = 4x = 120.208 cm

Area = x^2 = 903.125 sq cm
