Diameter = 19.6 cm

Radius = 19.6/2 cm

Area = pi × r × r = 22/7 × 19.6/2 × 19.6/2 = 301.84 cm square

If the diameter of a circular garden in the picture is 19.6 m, then find its area.

 \mathtt{radius =  \frac{diameter}{2}}

 \mathtt {radius = 9.8m}

 \mathtt {area \: of \: a \: circle =  {r}^{2} sq \: units}

 \mathtt{area  = pie \:  {r}^{2} sq \: units}

 \mathtt \pink{area } \mathtt \green{ = } \mathtt \blue{301.34} \mathtt \red{ {m}^{2}}
