If the diameter of a circular garden in the picture is 19.6 m, then find its area[π=22/7]

radius= 19.6/2

area of circle = πr²

=22/7 × 9.8 × 9.8

we know that,

  • Radius of circle = Diameter / 2
  • Area of circle = π * (radius)²

So,

→ Diameter of a circular garden = 19.6 m .

then,

→ Radius of circular garden = Diameter / 2 = 19.6/2 = 9.8 m

therefore,

→ Area of circular garden = π * (radius)²

→ Area of circular garden = (22/7) * 9.8 * 9.8

→ Area of circular garden = 22 * 1.4 * 9.8

→ Area of circular garden = 301.84 (Ans.)

Hence, its area is equal to 301.84 m² .
