  • Curved surface area of cylinder is 1634.28 \sf  {cm}^{2} .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

  • Diameter of cylinder is 26 cm.
  • Height of cylinder is 20 cm.

To find:-

  • Curved surface area of cylinder.

Solution:-

We know that,

 \boxed{ \sf \bold { \star \:Curved \: surface \: area \: of \: cylinder = 2\pi rh}}

In which,

  • r and h are radius of cylinder and height of cylinder respectively.

r = 26/2 = 13 cm.

h = 20 cm.

Put the values in formula :

 \longrightarrow \sf 2 \times  \cfrac{22}{7}  \times 13 \times 20

\longrightarrow \sf  \cfrac{11440}{7}

\longrightarrow \sf 1634.28

Therefore,

Curved surface area of cylinder is 1634.28 \sf {cm}^{2} .

Diameter = 2* radius

D=26 cm(given)

r= D/2= 26/2=13 cm

height=h=20cm(given)

curved surface area = 2πrh= 2*(22/7)*13*20= 11440/7= 1634.28=1634.3 cm² ( here π=22/7)
