Like we know the expression for Youngs modulus…..
Y = (F×dL)/A×L
So kepping F L comstants…
Y is inversly proportional Area of cross section so incresing diameter increses area..
But surprise to notice YOUNG’S modulus is a total contant…. :-))*
dL may change accordingly…
Therefore YOUNG’S MODULUS does not change
But other quantities adjust themselves to cop up with the changes….
