To find : total surface area of hemisphere

Solution:

Diameter of hemisphere   =  28 cm

Radius of hemisphere = 28/2  = 14 cm

total surface area of hemisphere  = Curved surface area + base surface area

= 2πr²  + πr²

= 3πr²

using π = 22/7  & radius = 14 cm

= 3(22/7) (14)²

= 3 * 22 * 28

= 1848 cm²

1848 cm² is the total surface area of hemisphere
