Given :

  • Diameter of Hemisphere = 28cm

To Find :

  • Total Surface Area of Hemisphere.

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Diameter=28cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Radius=\cancel\dfrac{28}{2}=14cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{T.S.A\:of\:Hemisphere=3\pi{{r}^{2}}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{3\times\dfrac{22}{\cancel{7}}\times{\cancel{14}}\times{14}}

\longmapsto\tt{3\times{22}\times{2}\times{14}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{1848{cm}^{2}}

So , The T.S.A of Hemisphere is 1848cm²..

  • C.S.A of Hemisphere = 2πr²
  • T.S.A of Hemisphere = 3πr²
  • Volume of Hemisphere = 2/3πr³

\large{\red{\underline{\underline{\bold{Given}}}}}

  • Diametre of hemisphere is =28 cm

\large{\blue{\underline{\underline{\bold{To find}}}}}

  • The total surface of the hemisphere of the diameter of hemisphere is 28 cm

\large{\green{\underline{\underline{\bold{Solution}}}}}

\rightarrow\textsf{Diametre =28 cm ,d=2r}

\rightarrow\textsf{Radius= Diameter/2= 28 cm/2 = 14 cm}

so \: the \: total \: surface \: area \: of \: hemisphere \:  = 3\pi {r}^{2} \\ here \: r \: is \: radius \:

3×22/7×14×14

TSA of hemisphere is 1848cm²
