Circumference is 91.6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

From the formula, we know that

Circumference = 2 x pi x r ............ eq(1)

and radius is represented by "r"

Thus, according to the conditions, we get

77 = 2 x pi x r - r

77 = r ( 2 x pi - 1)

77 = r 5.28

r = 14.6

Now, to find out the circumference, we need to put value of "r" in eq (1)

Circumference = 2 x 3.14 x 14.6 = 91.6

Given :  the difference between circumference and radius of a circle is 77 cm

To find : circumference

Solution:

Let say Radius  = R  cm

Circumference = 2πR  cm

Using π = 22/7

difference between circumference and radius of a circle is 77 cm

=>  2πR  - R  = 77

Using π = 22/7

=> 2(22/7)R  - R   = 77

=> 44R - 7R  =  77 * 7

=>  37R   = 77 * 7

=> R   = 77 * 7 /37

Circumference = 2πR

= 2(22/7)  ( 77 * 7 /37)

=  2 * 22 * 77 /37

= 91.5  cm

circumference = 91.5  cm
