Given

Circumference - Radius = 37 cm

To find, The radius of the circle.

Solution :-

Let the radius be r

We know that, circumference of circle = 2πr

Hence,

2πr - r = 37 cm

Taking r common, we get

r(2π - 1) = 37

Putting value of π as 22/7,

r(2 × 22/7 - 1) = 37

=> r(44/7 - 1) = 37

=> r(44/7 - 7/7) = 37

=> r(37/7) = 37

=> r = 37 × 7/37

=> r = 7 cm

Answer :- 7 cm

HEY GUYS HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

2\pi r - r = 37 \\ r(2\pi - 1) = 37 \\ r = 37 \div (2\pi - 1) \\ r = 37 \div (2 \times 3.14 - 1) \\ r = 37 \div 5.28 \\ r = 7.0075cm
MARK IT BRAINLIEST

rushikeshrajhans470: aree I have done it
MPSingh1755: the value of r is 7 only..it is fully divided.but yours is coming in decimal bcz you've taken the value of π 3.14 and there is no need it is making the question impentrable
YashanshuMishra: thanks
