Given
Circumference - Radius = 37 cm
To find, The radius of the circle.
Solution :-
Let the radius be r
We know that, circumference of circle = 2πr
Hence,
2πr - r = 37 cm
Taking r common, we get
r(2π - 1) = 37
Putting value of π as 22/7,
r(2 × 22/7 - 1) = 37
=> r(44/7 - 1) = 37
=> r(44/7 - 7/7) = 37
=> r(37/7) = 37
=> r = 37 × 7/37
=> r = 7 cm
Answer :- 7 cm
