if the difference between the interior and exterior angles of a regular polygon is 120 degree then find the number of sides in the polygon​

According to question we can conclude that:

Interior angle of polygon-exterior angle=120°

 \frac{180(n - 2)}{n}  - \frac{360}{n}  = 120

 \frac{180n - 360 - 360}{n}  = 120

180n - 720 = 120n

 =  > 180n - 120n = 720

 =  > 60n = 720

 =  > n = 12
