Hi

Let us assume 23 + x , x are length

and breadth of the rectangle.

Perimeter = 206 m

2 ( length + breadth ) = 206

2 ( 23 + x + x ) = 206

2x + 23 = 103

2x = 103 - 23

2x = 80

x = 80/2

x = 40 m

Therefore ,

Length = 23 + x = 23 + 40 = 63 m

Breadth = x = 40 m

Area of the rectangle = L × B

= 63 m × 40m

= 2520 m²

I hope this helps you.

Hii friend,

Let the length and breadth of a rectangle be X and Y m.

According to question,

X - Y = 23......(1)

Perimeter of a rectangle = 206 m

2(L+B) = 206

2(X+Y)= 206

X +Y = 206/2 => 103

X + Y = 103......(2)

From equation 1 we get,

X - Y = 23

X = 23+Y.....(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

X + Y = 103

23+Y +Y = 103

2Y = 103-23

2Y = 80

Y = 80/2 => 40 m

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = 23+Y => 23+40 = 63 m

Length of the rectangle = X = 63 m

and,

Breadth of the rectangle =. Y = 40 m

Area of the rectangle = L × B = 63×40 = 2520 m².

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... :-)
