take one side as x
so other side become x-3
area of triangle is half of product of perpendicular sides
so,
54=x×(x-3)
by solving this quadratic equation
you will get
x=12 or x=-9
x is not equal to -9 because length of side is always positive
x=12
x-3=9
using Pythagoras theorem
diagonal is 15cm
perimeter=9+12+15=36

perimeter of the triangle is 36cm

Dev0708: how did you get that?? thats the correct answer
KabeerRRatnakar: i will explain it in picture
Dev0708: ok thanks
Dev0708: hey where is the method??
KabeerRRatnakar: method was saved in answer
KabeerRRatnakar: you can solve middle steps easily
Dev0708: well i was confused which sides the question was asking about and whether it was all the sides because it said the difference of sides
Dev0708: thanks
