if the angle is x then supplement is = 180 - x According to qusetion x - (180 - x) = 40 x - 180 + x = 40 2x = 180 + 40 = 220 x = 110^0

if the angle is x

then supplement is =180−x

According to qusetion x−(180−x)=40

⇒x−180+x=40

⇒2x=180+40=220

⇒x=110

0

∴ The two angle are 110

and 70
