To FInd : what is the two digit number obtained by reversing the digits

Solution:

the digits at unit place is ‘m

digit at tens place is ‘n’,  

=> number is nm

Value is  10n + m

reversing the digits

=> the digits at unit place is ‘n

digit at tens place is  m

number is  mn

Value is  10m+ n

number obtained by reversing the digits  is  mn

Value of 10m +  n

Solution :-

given that,

  • Unit place = m
  • tens place = n .

so,

→ Two digits number is = 10 * tens place + unit place = 10*n + m = (10n + m) .

now give that, digits are reversed .

then we have,

  • unit place = n .
  • tens place = m .

therefore,

→ Two digits number = 10 * tens place + unit place = 10*m + n = (10m + n) . (Ans.)

Hence, the two digit number obtained by reversing the digits is (10m + n) .
