we can find the diagonal of rectangle by using pythagoras theorm,
according to pythagoras theorm,
(H)^2 = (P)^2 + (B)^2
(H)^2 = (18)^2 + (15)^2
(H)^2 = 324 + 225
(H)^2 = 549
H = √549cm
according to pythagoras theorm,
(H)^2 = (P)^2 + (B)^2
(H)^2 = (18)^2 + (15)^2
(H)^2 = 324 + 225
(H)^2 = 549
H = √549cm

So. We can apply pythogoras theorem
If rect is ABCD, the diagonal forms a triangle.(as angles in rect are 90)
So in triangle ABD, (AB)^2+(BC)^2=(AC)^2=(In which AC is our diagonal)
(18)^2+(15)^2=(AC)^2
324-225=(AC)^2
99=(AC)^2
√99=AC
OUR diagonal AC=9.94cm(approx 10 cm)
