If displacement is proportional to time then
y ∝ t
y = kt
[Here k is proportionality constant]

v = dy/dt
= d(kt) / dt
= k
Velocity is k

Acceleration = dv/dt
= d(k) / dt
= 0 ……[∵ Differentiation of constant is zero]

∴ Acceleration of particle is zero. Particle is moving with constant velocity.
