5=sqrt(3^2 + k2)
squaring both sides
25=9 + k^2
k^2=16
k=4 or k=-4

distance formula= square root of (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2
5=sqrt (1-4)^2 + (0-k)^2
5= sqrt9+k2
25= 9+k2( squaring on both side)
16=k2
