Answer:

in between lies 15-3 that is 12 antinodes...and we know that per each wavelength lies two antinodes...so 6 wavelengths is 20 cm so wavelength is 10/3 cm mate... I hope this helps u mate

Given :

▪ Distance b/w third and fifteenth antinode = 20cm

To Find :

▪ Wavelength of the standing wave.

SoluTion :

☞ We know that, The distance b/w two successive nodes or antinodes is \lambda/2 and that b/w a node and nearest antinode is \lambda/4.

where,

\lambda denotes wavelength of wave

→ Distance b/w antinodes = 20cm

→ (15-3)\lambda/2 = 20

→ 12\lambda/2 = 20

→ 12 × \lambda = 40

\lambda=40/12

\boxed{\bf{\lambda=3.33cm}}
