If the distance between the two spherical bodies is increased to two times, then by how many

If the distance is increased by 2 times ,then

F = GMm/r²

F = GMm/ (2r)²

F = GMm/4r²

So as to maintain the same gravitational force the mass of one of the bodies should be increased by 4times

Now,

F = G4Mm/4r²

F = GMm/r²

here, 4 cancels 4 and thus the force remains same.
