Answer:

The force gets increased 2 times

Explanation: Formula of Gravitational Force = G1 = G * m1*m2/(r^2)

Let original masses and distance be m1 , m2 and r respectively.

New Variables:

m1/2

m2

r/2

New Force = G*m1*m2/2/((r/2)^2)

=G1 * 2

Therefore, the gravitational force between the two bodies gets increased by 2 times.

Answer:

F = Gm₁m₂ / R²

Given ,

m₁ => m₁ / 2

R => R/2

F₂ = ( Gm₁m₂ / 2 ) / ( R/2 )²

    = ( Gm₁m₂ / 2 ) / ( R² / 4 )

    = 4Gm₁m₂ / R²

F₁ : F₂ = Gm₁m₂ / R² : 4Gm₁m₂ / R²

          = 1 : 4

Hence , the gravitational force increases by 3 times its original value .

hope it helped and please mark as brainliest:)
