Answer- b. 26m
Step1- Let’s the height of the building be X meters. Now, Using Trigonometry we have:-
TanQ= X/15
Step2- Q=60
Tan60= X/15
Step3- “Square root of 3” = X/15
1.732 = X/15
Therefore, X = 1.732x15 = 25.980
On rounding off, we have X = 26m

Solution :-
From image let us assume that,
→ AB = Building with A as top and B as bottom
→ AC = 15 m = Distance of a point from the bottom of the building .
→ ∠ACB = 60° (given)
→ ∠ABC = 90°
So, in right angled ∆ABC,
→ tan 60° = AB/BC
→ √3 = AB/15
→ AB = 15√3 m
→ AB = 15 * 1.73
→ AB = 25.95
→ AB ≈ 26 m (Ans.) (B)
Hence, the height of the building is approx 26 m .
