if the distance of the object from the lens is 8cm and focal length of the lens is 4cm then find the distance of image from the lens ,find magnification?​

1/f= 1/v-1/u

1/4= 1/v-1/8

1/v= 1/4-1/8

1/v = (2-1)/8

v=(-8)

magnification formula

m=-v/u

m = 8/4

m = 2
