if the dna of the skin cell of a person is altered in his lifetime and the skin colour becomes brown to white,can this trait be inherited to hte next progeny ? why?what is such type of traut called?​

yes .it will be as we know that there are two types of trait aquired and inherited though it is aquired in the lifetime but there are changes in the dna and the trait in the dna is passed to the next generation . it is called inherited trait
