If the earth were to stop rotating then what will be the value if g?

AS WE KNOW DAY AND NIGHT OCCURS DUE TO ROTATION,BUT IF EARTH WILL STOP ROTATING THE PART OF EARTH FACING SUN WILL ALWAYS HAVE BRIGHT LIGHT BUT ON OTHER SIDE THERE WILL BE DARKNESS......I HOPE THIS IS RIGHT ANSWER........BY BHAVYA

hey mate , I think there with be a little difference occurs in the value of g when earth stops rotating !!
as now it is 9.8m/s

but it will become 9.7m/s..
