hello!
let me guide u. take the roots alpha & beta.
now, alpha-beta is = +/-√D/a. find D by b^2-4ac & a is given (k-2). alpha -beta is already given 3. find k from here.
feel free to ask if any doubts are there.
Regards.

rajusetu: How did you get difference of roots formula?
Chinmay007: we know what is sum of roots & the product of roots. Find from here only
Chinmay007: use it in the formula (alpha-beta)^2 = (alpha+beta)^2 - 4alpha.beta
rajusetu: Thanks Dude.
Chinmay007: no worries!
