If the field lines of a magnetic field are crossed at a point,what does it indicate?

It indicates that a compass needle would point to two different directions, at the same time, which is not possible.

Field lines of a magnetic field cannot cross at a point because if field lines cross at a point then at that point 2 directions are obtained by making tangents which is not possible. Also, magnetic compass kept there could not show 2 directions at the same time.
