If the first number is 20%less than the second number and the second number is 25% more than 100,find the first number.

Also it is given that the a is 20%less than the b, i.e., 20%less than 125.

∴ a = b - 20/100xb

     = 125 - 1/5x125

     = 125 - 25

     = 100

i.e., the first number is 100.
