If the first term of an Ap is a and its common difference is d then show that its nth term is given by {Tn = a+(n-1)d}​

Answer:

let the sequence a1 a2 a3...an

now let a1=a

a2=a+d

=a+(2-1)d

a3=a2+d

=a+(3-1)d and so on

an=a+(n-1)d this formula

Now take example of a=1 and d=1 if we have to find 100 th term

a100=1+(100-1).q

a100=1+99.1

therefore a100=100

Hence proved
