If the flasks are sealed for a week, then the air inside it shall not be able to mix with the air in the atmosphere. As the flask is sealed with any kind of treatment performing on it, there are high chances that there have been some micro organisms.

                                  Hence the organisms shall breathe in the sealed flask and it shall have a high amount of co2.

When the flask are sealed then the inside air cannot come in contact with the outside air. Hence there will be no mixing of gas. It's likely if the concentration of CO2 is increased then it's likely there are microorganisms which respire and CO2 is produced. So concentration of CO2 is high.
