Let the side of the square room be = s

We know,

Area of a square =

where,

  • s = Measurement of the side of the particular square.

According to the Question:-

= 9.5481

s = 9.5481

s = 3.09 metres

Thus, the side was of 3.09 metres.

NOW, finding perimeter of the room:-

We know,

Perimeter of square = 4s

where,

  • s = Measurement of a side of the particular square.

Thus,

Perimeter = 4(3.09) m = 12.36 m (Answer)

Floor area of square room = 9.5481 sq.m
Let the length os square sides be ‘a’
a*a = 9.5481
a = 3.09

Perimeter of square room = 4a
= 4*(3.09) = 12.36 m
