If the force acting on a body is 3i+5j+k and velocity is -i+3j+6k. find the power power consumed by the body

As we know that

Power = Force . Velocity

or Scalar product of Force and velocity gives power .

As F = 3i+5j+k

V = -i+3j+6k

So, P = F.V

or, P = (3i+5j+k) . (-i+3j+6k)

or, P = -3 + 15 + 6 = 18 Watt .

So, 18 W will be consumed .
