\small{\underline{\sf{\red{Given:\rightarrow}}}}

  • Force [F]= 10N
  • Mass [m] = 15kg

\small{\underline{\sf{\pink{Find:\rightarrow}}}}

  • Acceleration [a]?

\large{\underline{\sf{\blue{Solution:\rightarrow}}}}

According to second law of motion,

\bf{\blue{F=ma}}

By Putting value in this formula we get,

\sf{\implies 10 = 15 \times a}

\sf{\implies a= \dfrac{10}{15} = \dfrac{2}{3} = 0.66m/s^2}

\boxed{\bf{\red{a= 0.66m/s^2}}}

More info:-

  • Newton's second law of motion is F = ma, or force is equal to mass times acceleration.
  • According to this law, a force upon an object causes it to accelerate according to the formula net force = mass x acceleration.
  • Also known as the Law of Force and Acceleration.
