a14=a+13d

\impliesa+13d=6

a6=a+5d

\impliesa+5d=14

Now,

From the above equations

a=6-13d

in the second equation

(6-13d)+5d=14

-13d+5d=14-6

\implies-8d=8

\large{\boxed{\boxed{d=-1}}}

a=6-13(-1)

a=13+6

\large{\boxed{\boxed{a=19}}}
