If the galvanometer and battery are interchanged at the balanced position. How will the balance point get affected?
Answers
a) State the working principle of a potentiometer. Draw a circuit diagram to compare emf of two primary cells. Derive the formula used.
b) Which material is used for potentiometer and why?
C) How can the sensitivity of a potentiometer be increase?

14(a) No change because in that case they also have balancing ratio as previous (P/Q=R/S) here P,R,R,S are the resistance value of Wheatstone bridge.
15(a)Principal:-Potensial drop(V) across uniform cross sectional wire is directly proportional to its length(L)
Working:- At particular point on the wire deflection in the galvanometer is 0(null point) hence the potensial difference between that point(null point) and the point of wire which is connected to positive terminal of the cell will give the value of emf of the cell
(b):- The wire used in potiometer is Magnin wire because of high resistivity and low thermal coefficient of resistance.
(c)1.By increasing the length of wire.
2.By decreasing the value of current.
