Half perimeter = 12.

so full perimeter= 12 ×2= 24

perimeter of square = 4 × side

24 = 4 × side

so side = 24 / 4

= 6

then ,

area= side × side

= 6 × 6

= 36

Answer:

Side = 6 cm

Area = 36 sq.cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a Square = 4* Side

Half the Perimeter = 12 cm

Hence Perimeter = 24 cm

Hence Side = 24/4 =6 cm

Area = side *side = 6* 6= 36 sq.cm
