a = side = ?

Altitude = 9cm

√3/2 × a = h

√3/2 × a = 9

⇒ a = (9 × 2)/√3

⇒ a = 3√3 × 2 = 6√3 cm

Now,

Area = √3/4 × (a)²

= [√3/4 × 6√3 × 6√3]

= 27√3

= (27 × 1.732)                                                     (√3 = 1.732)

= 46.764 cm²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Here is your simple and easy answer

Area of equilateral triangle =√3/4*side^2

=√3/4*9^2

=√3/4*81

=(81√3)/4

Area of triangle =1/2 * base * height

(81√3)/4= 1/2*9* height

Height= (81*2*√3)/4*9

=9/2*√3

=4.5√3

Thank you
