Heya..

Since height of equilateral triangle = √3 /2 * side

=) 9cm = √3 /2 * side

=) 9* 2/ √3 cm = side

=) 18/ √3 cm = side

Since Area of an equilateral triangle = √3 /4 * side^2

= √3 /4 * (18/ √3) ^2

= √3 /4 * (324/3) cm^2

= 27√3 cm^2

Hope it's helpful to u.

Answe is 27 root 3.
In equilateral triangle median and alititude are same .
So in any triangle median is = 1/2root 2z^2+2x^2-2y^2. Where x,y,are the sides of triangle ,Height is on side y.
By this we get the side of equilateral triangle is 6root3

Then area will be 27root 3.
