If the height of two right circular cylinder are in the ratio of 1:2 and perimeters are in the ratio of 3:4, let us write the ratio of their volumes.​

The heights can be taken as h and 2h while the perimeters of the bases can be taken as 3(2πr)and 4(2πr) respectively. Hence the radii are 3r and 4r respectively.

Ratio of the volumes, therefore, will be

(1/3)π (3r)^2 h : (1/3) π (4r)^2 (2h) = 9 : 32
